How it all started
In Ethiopia, specifically the Amhara region, millions have been displaced and are living in make shift compounds and shelters. They are in need of food, clothing, drinking water and medical supplies. We want them to start a peaceful and prosperous life on their own so we started this organization.
Our story
Around the world, the elderly, women and children are the most vulnerable sectors of society. In developing countries, poverty, lack of clean water, food, clothing, medical supplies coupled with internal strife has contributed to their misery. We set out to tackle these issues by raising funds to help provide essential needs for these communities.
Our approach
The goal of Maryland Amhara Organization is to bring awareness of this crisis and their light to the American people and the international community.
We can make a difference in their lives so that they can have hope for the future.
